Skye Stone, flutist

Skye is a graduate assistant and master's student pursuing her passion for music and education in the enchanting city of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Originally from North Carolina, she cultivated her love for music at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts before earning a BA from West Virginia University.

In Albuquerque, Skye is a freelance musician and educator, offering in-person lessons and conducting school flute sectionals. As a member of the University of New Mexico's Graduate Wind Quintet, The Enchantment Winds, she enjoys performing regularly and engaging in community outreach activities, bringing the joy of music to schools and local audiences.

With a commitment to both her studies and her craft, Skye strives to make a positive impact through music, enriching the lives of others and contributing to the cultural vibrancy of the Albuquerque area.
